What's up world...
I guess its about time to update my blog again. I apologize for the lack of updates from Vancouver, but I decided not to play the main event, so I don't have much to report anyways. Lots of people have been asking me where I've been, why I am not on stars anymore, etc. Well, basically I have been playing the 10/25nl tables on UB, most of the time I play the heads up tables. I had a nice little run there for about a month and I think reached a new level in my heads up game. I have been on stars as well, mainly playing 3/6nl - 10/20nl and some MTTs. Right now, I am kind of unorganized, and I play when I feel like it. I know a lot of players out there set goals on how many hands they will play a day/month etc. I admire that, but I can't do that. I have to be in a good state of mind to have a good session. That's probably a great tip to throw out there: Don't play when you aren't "feelin' it".
For about a month now, I have been taking boxing classes at the local boxing gym. It's a great tilt/stress reliever and it helps me get off the computer and do something active, which makes me feel good, and in turn, makes me play better. I have always liked boxing, but have never done it. Once you get the basic footwork/punches down its fun. Another plus-- I will be ready for Rekrul if he is going to the bahamas and wants to start something ;)
Anyways, I just thought I'd give the readers a little update since I hardly update this anymore. I am still around, so check back for more updates.
Peace,
Lee
